Occasionally Catchpoint Systems will shut down a node in a region. This decision is made only when the availability of the service has significantly degraded and the provider cannot offer a stable solution.

As of 27th January 2026, the backbone node in Bogota will be shut down. Please use this opportunity to retarget tests from this node to any of our other nodes based in Bogota. For a full list please see our NodeMap.

Catchpoint regularly adds new nodes globally based on demand and ISPs share of network in the city. As part of this process, we also occasionally remove nodes that we find to be redundant or are no longer necessary for a particular city.

As of 28th Jan 2026, the below listed Node will be decommissioned and tests will be retargeted with replacement node. Any tests targeting the below node will be automatically updated to target with Replacement Node on 28th Jan 2026.
